Meg Buchanan joined NetWise as a Business Analyst in August 2016. Meg has worked in healthcare, local government, the pet services industry, and the professional employer organization (PEO) industry. Meg received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Central Florida and her Master’s in Business Administration at Webster University.

During Meg’s 7 years in PEO, she was exposed to all aspects of the industry including employee benefits administration, workers’ compensation, payroll administration, and human resources. As Director of Business Operations and Strategic Planning, she oversaw a Sarasota based PEO’s marketing efforts, special projects, and evaluated operation processes and procedures to ensure operation excellence throughout the company. As the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, she was responsible for creating their first ever company and departmental budgets, identified key operating metrics, and created critical, new reports for senior leadership and external stakeholders. Meg was instrumental in the due diligence process that led to a change in ownership form one private equity form to another.

Meg is a Florida native, growing up on the Space Coast, but has made the Suncoast her home since 2004. Meg is a lover of animals, having 2 cats and 2 dogs, and of travel. He most notable adventures are a photo safari in Tanzania in which she got to see many national parks including the Ngoro Ngoro Crater and the Serengeti and a trip to Peru where she spent time in the Amazon, Cusco, and atop Manchu Picchu.
